Due to the threat of rain, the July 27th concert will be held INDOORS at Scarsdale High School auditorium.
Chase Park is opposite the Post Office in the Scarsdale Village.
Ample street parking is available in the village, as well as in the garage on Christie Pl.
All are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a picnic dinner.
Comfort stations are located in the park and at several local businesses.
* Scarsdale Municipal Pool is located at 311 Mamaroneck Rd, Scarsdale.
Concerts are held rain or shine. Rain location for all concerts is Scarsdale High School.
Combining the talents of professional, amateur, and outstanding student musicians, the Westchester Band presents annually a series of free “concerts under the stars,” sponsored principally by the Scarsdale Department of Parks and Recreation, local merchants, and by donations from the concert-going public.

2017 marks Alan Hollander's 17th year at the helm of the Westchester Band. A professional musician since the age of 18, he has conducted numerous ensembles across the New York metropolitan area, including the American Wind Ensemble, Larchmont Symphony, Westchester Pops and various other ensembles. He is Professor of Music at Lehman College, teaching Music Education, instrumental methods, and conducting, and has just completed his fourteenth season as Director of the Lehman College Community Band.
An accomplished oboist, Alan performs solo and chamber works widely, and is oboist of the Lehman Woodwind Quintet. He is also quite active as a clinician/ conductor in public school music, leading All County and All State Festival Ensembles throughout New York State.
For 28 years he was Director of Music and Instrumental Ensembles in the Edgemont Public Schools, and in his "spare" time enjoys tennis and sailing.
